Get to Xian city centre within 30 minutes by taxi.
Xi’an Taxis tend to be mostly green coloured. Take into account that taxi drivers do not speak English, so you’d better show them a note with your destination written down in Chinese.
On the other hand, the black taxis, which are more luxurious than the regular green taxis, are more expensive than the first ones even offering you more comfort.
Location
The taxi ranks are located outside the Arrivals area of each terminal; you just have to walk 100 meters by following the taxi sign straight to the parking lots.

In China it is quite common to bargain prices with the driver.
We recommend you to bargain especially for trips outside Xi’an and long distance ones to get better fares.
You are advised to keep your eyes wide open, since as a tourist you can encounter with scams – There has been reported that taxi drivers gave counterfeit coins to foreigners. Be careful with it!
